Lecture at Yale College, "Judaism, Christianity, and the Secular: The Logic of Supersessionism"

This lecture will be held at Yale College on April 2, at 7pm, at Room 211, Linsly Chittenden Hall, 63 High Street, New Haven, CT.  It is free and open to the public. Its theme is secularism's unacknowledged dependence on Christian supersessionism. The lecture traces the origins of supersessionism in Christian anti-Judaism, and shows how the logic of supersessionism was taken up in modernity by secularism and secularization theory.
